Golf & mahjong kaki

Quite often I have guests from Auckland, Kati-kati and Hamilton. They were friends from Miri who had migrated to NZ. We played golf during the day and mahjong at night.

Bob, Priscilla and David Ingleby came from Melbourne for a short visit. I made a kite and let David junior fly it.

Ah Pei, er-chey, Mei Shan and Shou Shan from Kuantan came for a visit.

Jeffrey Chow and Cecilia

My sister Cecilia and Jeffrey Chow came for a week's stay. George's family were the first to arrive, then my in-laws from Kuantan followed shortly by my sister from Brunei. I asked Kevin to pick up Ai Hua from Auckland where she was staying with George. It was a big reunion at my house in Hamilton. yakity-yak!

George Thien

I hired a 12 seater van to go to the airport to pick up George's family and Ai Hua. Please take note of the 5 airport trolleys he used for moving his 18 pcs of luggage to the van! Looks like they planned to stay in NZ for a while.

John Liaw

My neighbour John and Alice came for a one week holiday in NZ. They have been very kind to me looking after my old house in Pujut for all these years. I rolled out the red carpet for them.

Canadians

I have not seen Cosmas Wong for more than 20 years. He was acting as a tour guide for 10 people. They arrived in two combi vans, on their way to Rotorua. We had only 20 minutes to catch up!
